The core of this product is the essential information provided at ZIP Code level: Latitude and Longitude coordinates, Preferred City and abbreviation, State name and abbreviation, County name in both long and short form, FIPS codes, Area Code, Time Zone and geographic size.

But there is much more—incorporated in pdZIP are numerous demographic counts and calculations from the 2010 and 2000 American national Census relating to population, gender, race, age, households, families, housing units, home value, income and employment. This is a feature not usually offered with ZIP Code data at this price.

Also included with this 5-digit ZIP Code database package are formulas and instructions for distance and radius calculations based on latitude and longitude coordinates.

Purchase Information: Available for download. Comes in multiple file formats to insure compatibility with any database system. Full documentation is provided along with a Site License allowing installation on all computers within a single company or organization.

pdZIP – 5-digit ZIP Code Database is updated 4–6 times each year. While coverage is very high, not all information is included for all records. Census 2010 and 2000 demographics are provided when a U.S. Census Bureau 5-digit Zip Code Tabulation Area matches a USPS 5-digit ZIP Code. Note that while Zip Code Tabulation Areas and ZIP Codes generally follow the same lines, this is sometimes not the case, such as when a ZIP Code crosses over county lines.

The record count is the total number of records contained in each of the three included file formats. The zipped and extracted sizes show the combined total size of all product files.
